Chip Repair Policy
Windshield Repair Eligibility Criteria
Not all chips are repairable. Here are the general conditions for a repair to be considered:
- Size of the chip: The chip must be less than an inche in diameter, about the size of a coin.
- Number of chips: A windshield with up to three chips can generally be repaired. Beyond that, replacement is recommended.
- Location of the chips: The chip must not be in the driver’s direct field of vision. It must be more than 4 cm from the edges of the windshield to avoid the risk of cracking. If these conditions are not met, windshield replacement is generally recommended to ensure your safety.

Detailed Repair Procedure
Our repair process follows precise steps to ensure optimal results:
- Damage Assessment: Our technicians inspect the chip to confirm that it is repairable according to the mentioned criteria.
- Cleaning the Damaged Area: The chip is thoroughly cleaned to remove debris and moisture, ensuring optimal resin adhesion.
- Resin Injection: A specific resin is injected under pressure into the dent to fill the cracks and restore the strength of the windshield. Curing: The resin is cured using a UV lamp, solidifying the repair and making the treated area nearly invisible.
- Finishing: The surface is polished to ensure it is smooth and visibility is restored. This repair generally lasts about 90 minutes, allowing you to quickly and safely resume your journey.
